On 22^nd February 2008 the San Martino/Lundo-Lomaso research project took on an international dimension. This came about thanks to a declaration of intent with regard to the collaboration in the field of archaeology: the signatories were Margherita Cogo, a representative of the autonomous province of Trento, Guido Turrini, a representative of the municipality of Lomaso (today Comano Terme) and Volker Bierbrauer, representing the President of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and its ‘Commission for the Comparative Archaeology of the Roman Alpine and Danube Regions’ which is also involved in the project.
